Giving Back Through Oliver!
Oliver! is a story rooted in hunger and hardship, especially for children. In that spirit, QMT is hosting a “Food Glorious Food Drive” to support the First Presbyterian Church Food Bank. Audience members are welcome to bring non-perishable food donations to the theatre or with them to the performance. Donations can also be dropped off between 8am–6pm through March 8.

Quincy Porchfest
Quincy Music Theatre is proud to be a Porchfest stop during the 2026 Quincy Porchfest on March 21, with live music on our stage from 12:00–6:00 p.m. Catch Pharaohs of Funk at 1:30 p.m., followed by Thursday Night Music Club at 4:00 p.m.
Now in its 14th year, Quincy Porchfest is a free, family-friendly music festival held in the historic downtown district of Quincy. Founded in 2012 by local drummer Walter Kelleher, it was the first festival of its kind in Florida, bringing musicians and neighborhoods together to celebrate community.
Restaurants will be open, with food trucks and beverage vendors available throughout the day. The event is hosted by Quincy Main Street.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of Carole King’s rise from teenage songwriter to music legend. Featuring smash hits like “You’ve Got a Friend,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” and “It’s Too Late,” this feel-good musical celebrates the woman behind the soundtrack of a generation. Summer Camp
Quincy Music Theatre’s 2026 Summer Camp Show will be Madagascar Jr., A Musical Adventure! This year’s adventure, open to ages 7-15, is packed with big characters, catchy songs and plenty of opportunities for kids to shine! Whether it’s their first time onstage or they’re ready for the spotlight again, summer camp at QMT is all about learning, laughter and making something memorable together. Madagascar, Jr.
Performed by the young cast of our Summer Youth Series Camp program, Quincy Music Theatre invites you to escape to the wild with Madagascar Jr.: A Musical Adventure, a fast-paced, family-friendly musical full of big laughs, bold characters, and toe-tapping songs.
Based on the hit animated film, the story follows Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo as they leave the comfort of the zoo and stumble into an unexpected adventure in the wild. Packed with colorful costumes, playful choreography, and plenty of “I like to move it, move it” energy, Madagascar Jr. is a joyful show for audiences of all ages.

The QMT Summer Intensive is a fast-paced, immersive theatre experience for young performers ready to go deeper. Over four weeks, students will train, rehearse, and collaborate on a fully staged production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, culminating in a public performance on the Quincy Music Theatre stage.
This intensive is designed for students who want to strengthen their skills, take creative risks, and work as part of a focused ensemble.

Thrown into a world of monsters, myths, and mounting danger, Percy and his friends race to prevent a war among the gods while learning what it means to find where you belong.
With a contemporary pop-rock score, fast-moving storytelling, and high-stakes adventure, The Lightning Thief is an exciting night of theatre for teens, families, and fans of the books.
